Woolley GMC Engineering Company Limited is a privately owned Company formed by a merger between P.J. Woolley Engineering Company Limited and GMC Precision Limited.

P.J. Woolley was formed in the 1960's and since that time can justifiably claim to have become one of the most respected Engineering Companies in the West Midlands.

GMC Precision was formed in the late 1980's and a rapid expansion programme has established them as a competitive and reliable force in the sub-contract-manufacturing sector.

The merger has strengthened the individual businesses and the newly formed company is committed to providing competitively priced components to a consistent high standard of quality. A continuous machine tool investment programme geared to the latest technology has created a solid base, which enables us to compete in the volume and prototype production of parts.

The Companies' total commitment to Quality and Policy of Zero Defects is reflected in the companies' approval to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The use of Advanced Quality Plans, Failure Mode Effect Analysis and Statistical Process Control techniques, combined with thorough Machine Capability Studies ensures total customer satisfaction.

Expertise in the design and manufacture of jigs, fixtures and special purpose machinery, combined with modern computerised estimating, planning and production control facilities complement the machining function. First class, quality assured contacts for established services, monitored over the years are available in material supplies, heat treatment and protective finishing, enabling us to offer our customers the complete package deal for all their requirements.
